On behalf of Algoma Power, we were pleased to be able to make a donation of $4000 to Harvest Algoma as a co-sponsor in support of the Harvest Freight Program. Each sponsorship funds one transport truck carrying approximately 35,000 lbs of donated food which is sorted and distributed to 61 agencies across Algoma within 30 days. Thank you to our employees for volunteering to help unload the truck.
About Harvest Algoma
Harvest Algoma helps our communities by rescuing and distributing nutritious food to over 60 agencies across the Algoma District. It focuses on reducing food waste and increasing access to food for community members most in need.
